  • Description

    TIANSeq rRNA Depletion Kit (H/M/R) uses a specially designed DNA probe to hybridize with ribosomal RNA(rRNA), and then uses Ribo RNase H to degrade rRNA in the DNA-rRNA hybrid chain, thus removing cytoplasmic ribosomal RNA(28S, 18S, 5.8S, 5S) and mitochondrial ribosomal RNA(16S, 12S) in human, mouse and rat total RNA, and retaining messenger RNA(mRNA) and other non-coding RNA.

    The kit has a good rRNA removal effect on complete and partially degraded total RNA (such as FFPE RNA).The obtained rRNA-removed RNA sample can be used for mRNA and non-coding RNA high-throughput sequencing. The effective data ratio in sequencing results can be obviously improved, and the purified product can also be used for random primer cDNA synthesis or other downstream applications.

Experimental Example

  • Agilent 2100 results show that rRNA removal is complete for high quality (intact) and partially degraded samples.
  • NGS sequencing results showed that rRNA is completely removed.
