1.Introduction


TIANGEN Biotech (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (“TIANGEN,” “we,” “us”) a wholly owned subsidiary of QIAGEN N.V., is committed to protecting personal data in accordance with applicable laws, including, but not limited to, the Personal Information Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China (PIPL) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 2.1.Scope of processing of personal data


Generally, we collect and use personal data of our users only to the extent necessary for the provision of a functional website and our content and services. 2.2.Legal Basis on data processing

2.3.Sub-processing

The personal data of the data subject will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage is fulfilled. In some cases, we may be required to retain Personal Data for a longer period of time by law or for other necessary business purposes.


3.Provision of the website and creation of log files


3.1.Scope of data processing


Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the calling computer.

In this process, the following data is collected:

The data is also stored in the log files of our system. A storage of this data together with other personal data of the user does not take place.

Storage in log files is done to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, the data is used to optimize the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. An evaluation of the data for marketing purposes does not take place in this context.
