To obtain nucleic acid, the basic steps include: cell lysis—nucleic acid precipitation—nucleic acid washing—elution. After the cell lysis step, the nucleic acid precipitation can be performed either with alcohol precipitation or matrix adsorption method. The adsorption matrix materials are mainly: silicon matrix adsorption materials, anion exchange resins and magnetic beads. Magnetic beads are widely used to purify nucleic acid. The surface of the magnetic beads is labeled with a functional group, which can adsorb and react with nucleic acid. Unique embedded magnetic beads have strong affinity for nucleic acid under certain conditions. When the conditions change, the magnetic beads release adsorbed nucleic acid, thus achieving the purpose of fast separation and purification of nucleic acid.
