Genome assembly is the beginning of speciomics. De novo sequencing refers to de novo sequencing, splicing and assembling the genome of a species without relying on the reference genome, so as to obtain the single base precision sequence map of the whole genome. After the completion of the whole genome sequence map, the genome database of this species can be constructed, which can build an efficient platform for the post genomics research of the species, and provide DNA sequence information for the subsequent gene mining and functional verification.
