TIANSeq rRNA Depletion Kit (G- Bacteria) adopts the specially designed RNA probes to hybridize rRNA. The RNA-rRNA hybridization strands are then removed by streptavidin magnetic beads. This kit can remove rRNA (23S, 16S, 5S) from total RNAs of Gram negative bacteria, while retaining mRNA and other non-coding RNAs.

The kit has good rRNA removal effect for intact and partially degraded total RNAs. The obtained rRNA-free RNA samples can be used for high-throughput sequencing of mRNA and non-coding RNA, and can significantly improve the proportion of valid data in the sequencing results. The purified products can also be used for random primer cDNA synthesis or other downstream applications.
