  • Description

TGrinder H24R benchtop low-temperature tissue homogenizer with integrated cooling for DNA, RNA and protein sample preparation without liquid nitrogen

The TGrinder H24R Tissue Homogenizer uses a three-dimensional, high-speed vibration mode to process 1–24 individual samples simultaneously. A built-in compressor enables active cooling without the use of liquid nitrogen, helping prevent the degradation or denaturation of heat-sensitive molecules.

A lid-mounted vortex fan ensures uniform temperature distribution within the chamber. When used with appropriate grinding media, including zirconia beads, stainless steel beads, ceramic beads and glass beads, the system efficiently grinds, lyses and homogenizes a wide range of biological samples such as plant tissue, animal tissue, soil and fecal samples.

In combination with suitable extraction reagents, TGrinder H24R supports rapid and stable extraction of DNA, RNA and proteins while preserving molecular integrity.

  • Features

    • Sample throughput: Processes 1–24 samples simultaneously, supporting high‑throughput and efficient homogenization workflows.
    • Motion mode: Three‑dimensional vibration mode enables thorough and uniform homogenization.
    • Fast grinding: Typical sample homogenization can be completed within 30–60 seconds.
    • Grinding performance: Provides strong and consistent grinding results with uniform sample processing and no cross‑contamination.
    • Low noise and durability: Wear‑resistant mechanical design with low operating noise, suitable for routine laboratory use.
    • Cooling function: Active cooling down to −10 °C creates a low‑temperature environment that effectively prevents nucleic acid degradation and protein denaturation during homogenization.
    • Safe and reliable operation: Lid‑lock design combined with an automatic braking mechanism enhances operational safety.
    • Preinstalled programs: Preset programs provide convenient and complete processing solutions for different sample types.

Experimental Example

  • Plant RNA agarose gel electrophoresis comparing TGrinder H24R homogenization and manual liquid nitrogen grinding
  • Animal tissue RNA agarose gel electrophoresis after TGrinder H24R homogenization
  • Plant RNA agarose gel electrophoresis comparing TGrinder H24R homogenization and manual liquid nitrogen grinding
  • Animal tissue RNA agarose gel electrophoresis after TGrinder H24R homogenization

Experimental example: Plant RNA extraction

Total RNA was extracted from plant tissue samples after homogenization using theTGrinder H24R Tissue Homogenizer. For comparison, parallel samples were processed by manual grinding in liquid nitrogen.

Sample input: 100 mg per sample  Plant samples: Peanut, Edamame, Tomato (fruit), Strawberry (fruit)

Agarose gel electrophoresis analysis shows that RNA obtained after TGrinder H24R homogenization displays clear and well‑defined rRNA bands with consistent band patternsacross different plant tissues. Compared with manual liquid nitrogen grinding, TGrinder H24R homogenization provides comparable or improved RNA concentration andpurity under the tested conditions.

Marker: DNA Marker III (TIANGEN, GMD103‑02)  RNA extraction kit: TIANGEN RNA Easy Fast Plant Tissue Kit (GDP452)
