Description
TGrinder H24R benchtop low-temperature tissue homogenizer with integrated cooling for DNA, RNA and protein sample preparation without liquid nitrogen
The TGrinder H24R Tissue Homogenizer uses a three-dimensional, high-speed vibration mode to process 1–24 individual samples simultaneously. A built-in compressor enables active cooling without the use of liquid nitrogen, helping prevent the degradation or denaturation of heat-sensitive molecules.
A lid-mounted vortex fan ensures uniform temperature distribution within the chamber. When used with appropriate grinding media, including zirconia beads, stainless steel beads, ceramic beads and glass beads, the system efficiently grinds, lyses and homogenizes a wide range of biological samples such as plant tissue, animal tissue, soil and fecal samples.
In combination with suitable extraction reagents, TGrinder H24R supports rapid and stable extraction of DNA, RNA and proteins while preserving molecular integrity.

FAQ
What is a refrigerated tissue homogenizer?
A refrigerated tissue homogenizer is a laboratory instrument that disrupts biological samples while maintaining low temperatures to protect DNA, RNA and proteins from heat-induced degradation during sample preparation. Why is TGrinder H24R suitable for DNA, RNA and protein extraction?
TGrinder H24R combines active cooling down to −10°C with high-speed three-dimensional homogenization. This enables efficient tissue disruption while minimizing heat-induced degradation of DNA, RNA and proteins, making it ideal for molecular biology, genomics, transcriptomics and proteomics workflows. Can TGrinder H24R replace liquid nitrogen grinding?
For many plant, animal and microbial samples, TGrinder H24R can replace conventional liquid nitrogen grinding by providing active cooling down to −10°C during homogenization while preserving nucleic acid and protein integrity. This helps simplify workflows and reduce cryogenic handling requirements. What sample types can be processed using TGrinder H24R?
TGrinder H24R is suitable for plant tissues, animal tissues, bacteria, fungi, soil, fecal samples and other biological materials commonly used in molecular biology, agricultural research, environmental testing and life science applications. How many samples can be processed simultaneously?
The TGrinder H24R can process up to 24 samples simultaneously using standard 2 mL grinding tube holders, significantly improving throughput and experimental consistency. Is TGrinder H24R suitable for RNA extraction?
Yes. The integrated cooling system and high-speed homogenization technology help maintain RNA integrity and support high-quality downstream applications, including RT-PCR, RT-qPCR, RNA sequencing and gene expression analysis. What grinding beads are compatible with TGrinder H24R?
TGrinder H24R is compatible with zirconia beads, stainless steel beads, ceramic beads and glass beads, allowing efficient homogenization of a wide variety of biological sample types. What is the difference between a tissue homogenizer and a bead mill homogenizer?
A tissue homogenizer is a general term for instruments used to disrupt and homogenize biological samples. A bead mill homogenizer is a type of tissue homogenizer that uses high-speed shaking and grinding beads to mechanically break down tissues and cells. TGrinder H24R combines bead mill technology with active refrigeration, providing efficient homogenization while protecting DNA, RNA and proteins from heat-induced degradation. What is the best tissue homogenizer for RNA extraction?
An ideal tissue homogenizer for RNA extraction should efficiently disrupt samples while minimizing heat generation that can damage RNA. TGrinder H24R combines high-speed three-dimensional bead mill homogenization with active cooling down to −10°C, helping preserve RNA integrity and supporting high-quality downstream applications such as RT-qPCR, RNA sequencing and gene expression analysis. -
